The Maynard Brothers Band based in Johnsonville, NY, is a blues-based, roadhouse-rock group. Erv pens most of the music and lyrics and handles all the guitars while brother Jeff The Throat Maynard belts out the vocals and plays bass. Their strengths lie in Jeff’s dynamic vocal delivery of some witty, well-crafted lyrics. This CD is full of 14 tasty, original, well thought-out Blues, Rock, and Ballads that sound fresh and believable. The guitar work is great, while the rhythm section is dead-solid perfect.
