While having been acknowledged for some time as a premier vocalist and performer, Jasmine Rae is now being recognized as one of Australia’s most gifted songwriters, with her original songs like ‘If I Want To’, ‘Just Don’t Ask Me How I Am’ and ‘First Song’ capturing the attention of music fans and industry peers. If I Want To was nominated for an ARIA Award and Jasmine Rae was nominated for three Golden Guitar awards in the major categories of Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.

And in March, music fans voted Jasmine Rae 2014 CMC Female Oz Artist of Year. Over 380,000 votes were cast for this year’s awards by Australian Country Music fans.

The album’s first singles, the title track ‘If I Want To’ and ‘Just Don’t Ask Me How I Am’ both went all the way to #1 on the Australian Country Radio and Music Video Charts, taking Jasmine Rae’s tally of #1 hits to seven. In fact, ‘If I Want To’ spent three weeks at the top of the radio charts and a month at the top of the CMC Top 30 Countdown.

Kellie Pickler is one of country music’s biggest names. With over 1.7 million Facebook fans and over a million Twitter followers, she is an undisputed superstar of the genre. As well as having five Top #20 Billboard Country Hits, multiple CMA nominations and three CMT Music Award wins, Pickler is a popular television personality, appearing regularly on programs like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The View. Pickler was also the winner of the US Version of Dancing With The Stars in 2013 and her on screen talent has now translated to Australian audiences.
